Edward's Story
Life for me has been a wonderful ride, with plenty of challanges that have ended with meeting great people, whom have enriched my life. After high school I tried college and was not mature enough, so into the Navy I went. 8 years of submarine life, seeing a lot of our country and the world, and was debating staying for a career or getting out and becoming a cop. Buddy fell asleep at the wheel coming home on leave, and woke up in the hospital. Got out of the hospital a year later and was put out of on temporary retirement. mark and was permantently retired. Took a year or two to get back to life,but by the Grace of God, and with the support of family and friends life has been good. During my hospital stay I met a wondeful women, whom I eventually convinced to marry me ( I plied her with alcohol first) and now we have a wonderful daughter and live in Florida.
Residual problems from the accident caught up with me and have left me semi retired, but life for me is wonderful. And I can fish as much as I want!! I hope I can connect with some old friends on Classmates (already have) and catch up!
