I always wanted to be a musician when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. Although I stopped playing in 1981, the stories I have to tell about the nightclub scene in the Philly area would astound you. My copy band in the late 70's was called "Threshold". We played the disco songs and then current rock and oldies at clubs named "Frankies Place", the Caprice Lounge, Cherry's, 10 Downing St., Johnnys Cottman Bar, Nikki Dees Speakeasy, Jimmys Speakeasy, the Croation Club, to name a few. Other bands in that era were Purple Rain, Rockin Horse, Fire and Ice, Construction, Fuzzy Bunny, Love Train, ......... Although I retired from playing guitar and singing the members of that band continue to play as "Rhapsody". They are more of a wedding/party band. I think a fellow classmate of ours, won't mention his name but his initials are----Freddy Cohen, was a booking agent I once talked on the phone with but never met in person. Thats it for now.
