Life
Hello!
My wife, kids and I live near Irvine and Newport Beach, California in a great city called Tustin. The weather is spectacular and the area is full of charm and extremely convenient for families.
My wife and I met during our college years. I suffered a serious lapse of judgment that abruptly ended our college dating period. After a year, she decided that we could be friends. The platonic thing lasted six years before we fell back in love. We are now approaching our fifteenth anniversary - she is an amazing woman!
My ten year old daughter is unbelievable! Smart, loving, sensitive, funny, athletic, and a conflicted Yankees/Angels fan. She loves Disneyland, Webkins, piano, her chorus, swimming and horseshoes at home, card and computer games, books (Harry Potter in particular), our dogs, and most of the other stuff that little girls seem into.
Our nine year old son joined our family during the summer of 2006. He's from the Republic of Georgia, an amazing country with a rich history and culture. Anybod...Expand for more
y who tells you that international adoption isn't a good idea hasn't met our boy! Although his transition from life in Eastern European orphanages to suburban Southern California has come with its own unique challenges, he is weathering them like a trooper and has enriched our lives immeasurably.
I worked as a deputy district attorney for eleven years after I finished school, specializing through most of that time in the prosecution of major/complex fraud cases. I loved being a DDA, but eventually I decided to pursue new goals in the private sector.
Since November 2002, I've been chasing those new goals representing government agencies and people who are dealing with them. I spent three years running my own firm, and when my clients' needs outpaced my resources, I joined a great public law firm called Woodruff, Spradlin & Smart.
