Edward's Story
Life Changes: Below is the timeline of 2005, so much has changed since then. My best friend and wife suddenly came down ill in late 2007, she died in January 2008 at home. She had been very active locally and they closed down the local courts so the Judges could attend her funeral services. I miss her greatly. I was hired in August as the first community prosecutor for Frederick County (and I am still there; got a commendation last year for my work on Exile and Safe Streets.. I also teach Criminal Justice for UOP and have a weekly radio show with Pete Mcleod "Frederick County Sports Weekend" on am 930 WFMD. I do live broadcasts of High School football games on WFMD (and some basketball) every season (just did my 4th year in a row broadcasting state championship games from M&T Bank stadium).
My favorite places are Lake Tahoe and Williamsburg Va. I read voraciously and especially enjoy Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series and Steven Brust's Vlad series but I enjoy many other authors as well, CJ Cherry, WEB Griffin and Stuart Woods to name a few .
Youngest son is graduated with magan cum laude from Towson, my oldest is working and married and expecting their first in November 2014.

In practice in Frederick ever since. Former Assistant States Attorney for Frederick County. 2 kids, 16 and 18 (both football players for MHS). My wife is also an attorney and we just celebrated our 33rd anniversary. We live outside Jefferson in the still beautiful Middletown Valley and are active in our community.
I write a column for the political online magazine theTentacle.com and occasionaly do Legal Analysis For local radio station AM-930 WFMD. I also just did the color commentary for the High School Football game between Middletown and Walkersville for WFMD, something I enjoyed and may get to do more of.
I'm not rich, by a long shot, criminal defense attornies around here do not make much money but I chose to spend more time with my kids and community and made less money but am happy. I hate what Montgomery County has become and think that Baltimore and DC are visitable about twice a year and no more. Sadly Frederick County, where I have lived since the mid 70s, is filling up with refugees from Montgomery County and turning into what they just left. I love to read, was paid for awhile to write a column for the Frederick News Post and way back in 1980 I was a civilian umpire at the United States Naval War College in Newport R.I.
