Edward's Story
Life
After high school I graduated from to Clarion University in 1990 with a BS degree. I got married in 1991 to a girl I went to college with. We moved to Charlotte, NC in 1992. I got divorced a couple of years later. She moved back to Pittsburgh and I have been here ever since.
In 1994 I met Chellie, 5 years later we got married and I have been happily married since. We moved north of Charlotte 2 years ago to a small town called Cornelius to a neighborhood on Lake Norman.
On Friday April 14, 2006 at 7:26 PM we had our first child!!! A healthy boy, 7 lbs. 15 oz, 19 3/4 in. His name is Daniel Carder Unitis. We call him Carder, which is my wife's Maiden name.
I will be graduating with a MBA from Queens University at Charlotte December 12th, 2008
In October of 2009 we adopted a 3 year old Boxer mix from a second chance animal rescue.
We have another boy on the way, due March 6th 2009.
What I do for a Living

Operations Manager, but didn't have much of a life and caused my first divorce. I have since worked for Bank of America in downtown Charlotte for over 12 years doing a lot of different things. Started off in accounting, to finance and now doing what I love most a Process Design Engineer in the Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty group, working with Six Sigma tools and processes
Hobbies / Activities
I love to travel to a new place every year. I go camping, biking and golfing when I can. I love to play racquetball and tennis. My favorite activity in the spring and summer is boating/rafting. Rafting is where you tie a bunch of boats together and party from one boat to another. During the fall and winter we have season tickets to the Carolina Panther games. Most every May and October we go to the NASCAR Races here in Charlotte.
Debbie Huffman, Jennifer Wright, Mike Bates, and I have successfully put together a Clarion University Alumni Chapter here in Charlotte.
