Edwin's Story
My wife Margaret and I are retired and live on 10 wooded acres six miles west of Woodstock, Illinois. We were married in 1970 and have three children: Tom (1971), Jon (1973) and Jenna (1979).
Tom is a salesman for an automotive supply company. He has been married to Nettie since 2001 and they have our first two grandchildren Jerred (2002) and Alexandria (2007). Tom and Nettie both grew up in Woodstock and now are raising their family here.
Our other two children, Jon and Jenna were both married in 2011.
Jon and his wife Jackie are both teachers, while Jon works for Woodstock High School as an administrator and head wrestling coach. He is also a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He has served with NATO in Bosnia and with special forces boat team 22 in Iraq.

nt with a friend to vacation in Alaska and met and fell in love with her future husband Travis. After a year of long distance courting, she moved from Miami to Alaska and married Travis. She is now a Supervisor for the state's child welfare agency.
The last I heard she was chased by a moose while walking her dog.
Grand children update, Jon and Jackie now have three boys which includes identical twins. Not to be out done, Jenna and Travis had twins a boy and our second granddaughter this February.

CPA in 1973
From March 17,1974 to December 31, 2001, I worked for IC Industries (later Whitman) and their wholly owned subsidiary Midas. I was Midas' Chief Accounting Officer when Midas became a publically traded company on the New York Stock Exchange.
Sports
I have ridden my bike 250 miles in a day and have sailed the Mackinac race. We currently sail and race our boat Camelot on Lake Geneva.
