Edwin's Story
Well for starters I really don't like to talk about myself but since thats part of joining classmates here goes:
In high school I was about 2 years behind everyone, the way I acted, dressed, shy, not too bright, there were reasons for that and as I left high school and entered the "world" I began to like myself more and decided to make the best of things, I was accepted into a college and after 3 years became a RN which I did for for 40 years until I had a heart attack and nearly died nine years ago. I did get my BS and was in administration most of my career. I was married for 18 years and have two daughters, gosh my oldest is 45 next month...Expand for more
, guess I am getting old. I have grandchildren of course and they are in college.
I moved to Fort Lauderdale 30+ years ago and own my little home near the beach. I still keep active but would not want to see a sick patient ever again if my life depended on it. I do teach school part time as a volunteer with a PA, 11 and 12 graders AP, anatomy and physiology, I have been doing this now for 7 or 8 years. I don't want to slow down, giving to others is selfish, it makes me feel like my need is fulfilled, does anyone understand that? Sometimes I don't.
