Edwin's Story
Life
Attended high school, played basketball, went to dances, met some great girls, and some fantastic relationships with 4 important women in my pre married days (Linda, Linda, Holly, and especially MaryAnne). Like one of my ex girlfriends said, "I had the fastest hands!" To bad, I couldn't run worth a dam. Went to SCC and ARC, played basketball, water polo, made a big mistake in my life at the ARC Gymnasium, and joined the military who helped me travel around the world; Germany, Korea, England, Italy, Great Britian, France, Czech. Republic, California,New Jersey, Georgia, Colorado,Washington,Texas,Florida, etc. I fought in Desert Storm. I married Denise and had two great kids (Chip and Ralph). Retired, and lived in Washington (Olympia) and now live in Las Vegas.
I'd like to say, life has been good to me and my health is good, but such is not meant to be. Thanks to 20+ years of the military; I have had a back operation, broke both feet, one hand, had a kidney transplant (my son gave me one of his) and due to steroids, put on more weight than I care to think about. Like many of my peers, I don't have near the hair, I had when I was young. But, I am alive and kicking, so maybe life is good.
(06) We are now visiting Old East Germany (Wernigerode), where our exchange student lives. She staid with us for 10 months and now we get to stay with her family. Next year, they are coming to visit us.
Well, new year (07-08) and we have a new exchange student coming to visit. Her name is Lilly (from Bavaria) and we will see what we will see. ***As it worked out, Lilly did not stay with us, she would not talk and did not particpate as a family member.
(08-09)Spent alot of time in American Youth for Understanding, exchange program, as a representative. Still working at High School, MY GOD how kids have changed. They don't want to study, they don't want to learn, they want to be given everything, their parents are no help, and I hope they don't take care of me, in my old age.
(09) Looking to go to Germany, Washington, Colorado, or maybe Hawaii as a teacher. Haven't made the decision yet.

School
What a dunder head. Paid more attention to girls, basketball, girls, dances, girls, water polo, girls, and softball. Also, liked girls. Paid no attention to curriculum and was barely able to graduate. When I returned later(1995), I graduated with a B.A. & a 3.76 GPA and degrees in Special Education, Elementary Education, and later (2004) picked up my Masters in working with Severe Emotionally Challenged students.
College
College Bio can be broken into two phases; prior to military and after. Prior to joining military, I went to SCC and ARC, while enjoying life. Played around with my "boys," (Alan, Tony, Jeff, George, etc.)and made a fool of myself in the Gym. Went to classes, but did little studying.
After putting my time in the military, went to St. Martin's college in Olympia, WA. and majored in Elementary and Special Education. There I received my two B.A. in both and started working at the local district.
Left there, went to Las Vegas, began working in Special Ed. After a little while, went on to finish my Masters in Severe Emotionally Challenged and Austic "kids." Which leaves me where I am now.
Workplace
A work bio...started working for my father, in high school at his Phillips 66. Joined the Southern Pacific Railroad at 18 and worked till 21. Joined the Army from 1970 to 1972. Got out went to ARC for a year, then went back into the Army. That lasted 22 years. Traveled around the world; Korea, Germany (5 times), Texas, Georgia, New Jersey, California, Washington, and Colorado. Went to other strange and exotic places, but thats a long story. Desert Storm was overkill and retired shortly after that, when I retired and went back to school (see school bio).
Military
Went to basic at Fort Ord, AIT at Ft. Gordon, 1st Assignment in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Got out in 1972. Went back into the Army in 1973 and went back to Germany, then had tours in various places; Washington, Texas, California, Georgia, New Jersey, Korea, and several times back to Germany. Oh ya, and Colorado where I worked on UFO's. Just kidding. Somethings I would have to kill you, if I told you.
