And now... a little story:
I went to Northrop my freshman year. I was quiet and lonely and kept only one or two friends at a time. The class ring company came through and I found a really cheap one (like $135), and talked my parents into letting me get it. I was the only freshman I knew with a class ring. It showed up for the last month or so of my freshman year. I had this girl in my English class who loved to borrow it and wear it on her necklace. My being naïve and a train wreck trying to talk to a girl back then, I didn¿t even see it as a come on. The ring is silver colored but not silver. It has a Christian insignia on one side and a Northrop insignia on the other. The stone is aquamarine (my birthstone) with an old English E under it. me that they¿d bought a plot of land in Snider district and I could start at Northrop and switch when we moved, or start at Snider and go there all year. I started at Snider. I sent in my class ring to get it changed, but soon afterward, my parents sold the plot of land and after one excruciating quarter at Snider I went back to Northrop. I didn¿t get my ring back until my junior year, but then it had Snider on it and I had to send it back to switch it to Northrop. My junior year my parents did move to Snider district, but by then, I had a car, so I drove to Northrop for the last two years. I had my ring for the last semester at Northrop, for a whopping one semester and one month of high school with a class ring.
Dunno what else to say. I suppose school was what a job is; an obligation packed with acquaintances. It's fun to catch up with old friends, but I hope you all have greater things to care about. Pieces of peaces,
