Eileen's Story

Currently, I attend many sessions of yoga & meditative seminars to enhance my inner spiritual journey. I've experienced many psychic phenomenons over the years which has given me an awareness of my life's journey. II discovered a poetic connection for words and often write the poems for those people who have had family members cross over. And, I've been inspired to write many esoteric poems often relaying a story of one of my animals who has died or gaining a friend's energy to uplift their spirit. I, also, do pen/pencil sketching spending many days near the dog beach in Huntington Beach or at a favorite park. I've spent many nights dancing my feet away as I've tried to perfect my style & follow the lead of my partner. My passion for Argentine Tango has stirred my soul because of the sensual music being played & sharing this energy with my partner. I was also invited to participate in a musical/comedy play (in 1999) at the Irvine Barclay where we helped raise funds for first time offenders. Most of the actors/actresses were judges & attorneys from Orange County (one of my partners was Judge Brickner) who were also musically inclined, besides one actress from a popular sitcom. I invited one of my tango partners to join me, so we could demonstrate the intricate dance, since the judge was just portraying a dance instructor at the local Cowboy/Country Club I realized being on stage was a favorite place to "show off" and "strut my stuff". I had a blast!!! Thank God I've had these memories of success & (somewhat) fame to reflect upon, as I had to take a hiatus from dancing because of bilateral hip surgery. I'm doing much, much better these days but doing very little dancing. How life's challenges guide me into new directions. I've studied psychic phenomenon and currently attended seminars explaining a fairly new healing technique (since 1990) called Reconnective & Reconnection healing through Dr. Eric Pearl who wrote the book, The Reconnection/Heal Others, Heal Yourself. Besides these interests, I attend sessions with other people to enhance my own spiritual connection and clean out the "garbage" accumulated from past experiences. ughts and the negative energy connected to them. Sooooo....my quest is to become super peaceful & serene being able to avoid future diseases. And, of course, consuming healthier food on a daily basis is so beneficial. In 1993, I received my Cosmetology license working for a couple of years at Regis Hair Salon in South Coast Plaza. I specialized in scalp treatments and loved cutting men's hair but enjoyed updating the ladies in new fashionable styles. Since then, my mom had become my number one client, until I placed her in a nursing home (she just celebrated her 95th birthday). So, I spend 2-3 days a week visiting her - she's kinda become "my child" since I didn't raise any myself. I'm always amazed how life gives us the challenges to smooth the rough edges of our personalities. I know God's plan for me is an amazing one to be lived with as much joy as possible. One of my favorite careers was being a Background Extra for the motion picture industry. Anytime they needed background dancers, I was always on set, but, I also enjoyed walk-on parts or just being a face in the crowd. I had begun an Accounting career at Ford Motor Company in Pico Rivera, CA working in Accounts Payables for 8 years, and then was promoted to the Cost Accounting Department becoming their 1st female auditor. With the closing of the plant in 1980 (after 11 years service), I took some much needed vacation before deciding on a career with the federal government. I accepted a temporary position with The Environmental Protection Agency in Las Vegas, NV for 14 months. During the evenings, my boyfriend and I taught New York hustle & Nightclub 2-Step at a favorite club, Jubilation, owned by Paul Anka, besides exhibition dancing for them. We also taught and performed at a restaurant called El Paso Cantina and had some local TV coverage. And, for many years I worked as a "temp" providing support in the accounting/reception/data processing departments throughout Orange County & Los Angeles County. So, I've had a wonderful career in many different fields as I'm forever evolving and become intrigued by new & exciting adventures. Where the road leads is a mystery but one to be taken to heart as only the best is yet to come.
