Eileen's Story

Hi there everyone! Well...life has taken some interesting turns since I lived and worked in the metropolis of Escalon. I, of course, was a local product, born and raised. Born at the local hospital, went only to Escalon schools, married there, taught school there myself for 14 or my 18 year teaching/counseling career, and lived there until I was in my early 40's. At the age of 27 I was diagnosed with an incurable malady, compounded by numerous other incurable conditions, and I resolved myself to dying young and suffering. After a number of years wallowing in the hopelessness of that situation a remarkable thing happened: I got well. Like, really well. I eventually changed careers as a result of my passion for integrative wellness. While I have degrees and teaching credentials in numerous other subjects, my 2 doctorates are in natural health, and I learned the most from almost dying myself. So here I am now, career-migrated and all, perfectly healthy and med-free at the age of 62( well, it did take me at least 10 years to begin to get well though), and doing a lot of things to help others regain their health and wellness, weight management and HOPE. My husband and I are now the number 1 distributors with a home-based business we have built for the last almost 20 years. I still have to pinch myself when I think about how my life has changed since that day long ago when I delivered the main address at our graduation, and then contracted a bad case of the measles the very next morning. My husband Taylor and I live primarily in the Dallas, TX area, but we do have a second home in Hattiesburg, MS, where my grandchildren live. We travel a lot in our business, and we also vacation around the world as a result of our business too. I do a lot of phone consult...Expand for more
ations and trainings now. My brother Larry Bunch (who lost his wife Kathrine Chandler Bunch a while back to kidney failure from her diabetes), recently took our 83 year old mother Evelyn Bunch on her very first cruise! She loved it!!! I am so grateful for all of you and the wonderful experiences I had growing up with you and teaching school in such a wholesome environment. I realize every time I go back to Escalon for a visit (3 or 4 times a year since my parents live there)... that the town in very much like it was "in the day",...I guess I'm the only thing that is really different. I never dreamed that my life could turn out as interesting as it is. I now think way outside of the box---working in many exciting areas that I never dreamed possible, and living life on my terms. I have come to see that all things are possible with God's help, and we all need to step into utilizing the gifts we have been given to make a difference in the lives of others. My mission is wellness in the world: mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial. That means I cannot be anything else outside of myself greater than I am within, and that I want that for my family, our communities, my company, our country, and the world. If I drop dead as soon as I finish this story, you can be sure that I am played full out to live a purpose-driven life and to make a cosmic difference. I really look forward to connecting with a lot of you this June at the reunion if we have one. God bless you all!!! I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were half right. I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea.
