Eileen's Story

Life Life has been tough but is getting better. Back in 2004, I had back surgery with fusions on my lumbar vertebrae and a rod with 6 screws to stablize my back to fix additional scoliosis. Aside from that I have 3 grown children and no grandkids yet. Looking back, I wish I could have taken my life in a different direction. Let's face it, we grew up thinking our ideal life was Leave it to Beaver! If we only had a crystal ball! But there is a happy ending. Rekindling a spark with the son ...Expand for more
of my Dad's old navy buddy after 30 years=future husband. Who knew? Our parents have been writing to each other for over 60 years! College As a divorced mother of 3, it wasn't easy earning a 3.25 gpa and graduating from Bunker Hill Community College(1989-1993). By excelling in English, I was chosen and accepted an English tutoring position. Not only did I successfully tutor a Russian and Japanese student but was also enjoyed working as a reporter and ass't editor for the BHCC Newspaper.
