Eileen's Story
Wow, hard to believe its been 37 years since we walked out the doors of FHHS. Cant say Ive never looked back since my daughter graduated from those same halls. Alot of things have changed, but, many have stayed the same. I still live on the west side as do my sisters. For the last 14 years, I have been working at Grant Medical Center Laboratory, presently in the microbiology department. Ive been married, divorced,single, internet dater, mother(1X),grandma (3X),student (2X), landlord, renter and property owner. I am known as "Bar...Expand for more
b Villa" in my condo development (can fix about anything, but cant cook without setting something on fire!). Needless to say, I am more adept at using a drill (its in the genes) than a mixer so I tend to stay out of my kitchen.I am still mouthy but a little softer around the edges.
Its been a wild ride since 1971, full of bumps, potholes and detours but through it all I really dont think I'd change a thing. And if anyone wants to borrow my "rose colored glasses", I have an extra pair! Hope to see many of you at the NEXT reunion.
