Eileen's Story
I moved from Bakersfield soon after graduation. I graduated from California Baptist College-University and taught math for 4 years at a private school in Honolulu before I returned to CA. I married and in time I have had 3 birth children and several step-children. When I returned to teaching, it was at the preschool level where I taught part-time in a community college early childhood program before opening a preschool at my church where I was director/teacher. r own we began an elder-care facility where I was manager, cook and everything else. IAs our business expanded we cared for 40-50 people at a time with a staff of 35. After 24 years I was able to retire from that business and at this moment I am typing my story from Papua New Guinea where for 3 months I have been operating the guesthouse at a Bible translation center where my daughter and son-in=law now work. I will return to CA in time for the reunion and hope to receive some information about it because I plan to attend.
