Eileen's Story
Life
After growing up in San Diego and attending college ( Chapman) I spent a few years working at various jobs from catering parties for movie stars to working in a hospital . In 1975 I married and moved to Ann Arbor Michigan where my husband was completing his MBA. While in Michigan, we had 2 children. In 1981 we moved to Rochester, NY where my husband works for Eastman Kodak. We had 2 more children and I stayed home with them until the youngest was in 1st grade. Then I worked various jobs to help with colllege tuition. I also volunteered at many schools. I think my "career" has been raising 4 Incredible children. om Boston University as an Athletic Trainer and has been working for the Boston Red Sox as a trainer for one of the farm teams. I've used my home ec degree when I was doing costumes for school plays and the Rochester Ballet theater (do you know how many yards of tule are in a classic tutu? ) And I've become 1-800-ask eileen for my family and friends. ... I keep up with my artwork with classes at the local museums. And for a few months of the year I garden. Rochester NY is not the greatest weather... How I miss San Diego in the winter when we've had 120 inches of snow.
I've also been bitten by the genealogy bug.... I volunteer at a family history center and help input data for a NYC genealogy organizations so they can post the data online for free.
Would love to hear from classmates. The internet has been a great tool to reconnect..
