Eileen's Story
Life
I am the mother of one son who is now 35. I have one grandson who is due to turn 3 in September. I have worked for the Federal government since 1983; going to college at night while delivering the mail for the U.S. Postal Service. I graduated from college (SUNY at Stonybrook) in 1993. I then worked in Labor Relations and as a Legal Assistant (still for the Postal Service) while attending Law School (St. John's University) at night. I was hired by the Treasury Department (IRS) as a General Attorney in its Chicago Area Office practicing Labor and Employment law. I travel a lot with my job, most frequently to Washington, DC, Cincinnati, Detroit, and Indianapolis. In 2005 I bought my first house in the Chicago northwest suburbs. I enjoy opera, reading, knitting, sewing, my family, my 2 cats and life, in general.
2012-Eligible to retire April 2013, can't wait. I just lost 71 pounds on Weight Watchers! Looking forward to a healthy and active future.
