Elaine's Story
You never know where life will take you. I moved to Paradise 6 years ago....that's Venice on the southwest coast of Florida. I don't know why I thought I would miss the cold and snow all those years in NJ.
I am divorced now. I have two wonderful sons living in NJ. My youngest married a beautiful Jersey girl this past summer.
I retired a few years ago but always think I might go back to work one of these days.Or maybe not! I keep busy all the time. Have met many wonderful people here, but still see my friends and family back north. Donna (Podsaid)...Expand for more
Nazare and Candy (Boan) Gonzales live within 5 miles of me....the Golden Girls from Lyndhurst. Who would have guessed we would all relocate to the same town and in Florida! June (Cantalupe) D'Addario is moving here this year, too. I have a lot of time to reminisce about old times while making new memories.
I love the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the gorgeous sunsets. I get to do a lot of traveling now which is something I always wanted to do. Last year I went to Italy and this past spring I took a wonderful cruise around the Baltic Sea.
