Elaine's Story

Life I am a claims rep with Social Security Administration in Kent WA. I have worked for the US government for over 30 years and could retire- except that I married a "younger man" who is only 50. Mr Wonderful (Joseph) is a software engineer at Boeing in Seattle. We moved to Portland OR in 1994 from Albertville AL. Moved to Kent WA this summer (2004). tertaining and have an annual party on Christmas Eve at which we collect food for the food bank. Our last party (half-yearly Christmas Eve Party on 6/12/04- to say goodbye to Portland) had 167 guests and collected 17,000 pounds of food for the Oregon Food Bank. Life is better than I ever thought it could be. Update - I retired from SSA in Oct 2009 when my husband was transferred to the Dallas TX area. We are now Texans and love it!!
