Elaine's Story
After graduation, I expected that my life would be one that was filled with kids and work. I expected that it would be quiet, dull & boring. It was not!
After working for 10 years at "the Point", I went to work for NASA and JHU/APL. That opened an entirely different world! Because of the job, I traveled to California and other places. However, that job ended also and I found myself living on a 28' Morgan sailboa...Expand for more
t for 5-6 years. I sailed up & down the eastern seaboard, even venturing to the Bahamas. I had found my passion - living on the water. That ended tho' when I met & fell in love with a fellow in the Navy, who was in destroyers. I always was a sucker for a guy in uniform.
We married in 1988 and we're still together. He drug me away from the ocean and Bay to live in New Mexico. We've been out here since Dec 1993.
