Life
Hi everyone! I moved to Aiken, SC on December 2006. I just purchased a house in Queen Creek AZ and am making my way back home. I've applied for several jobs and looking forward to coming home in the next few months. I am still a contracting officer for the Federal Government and I was just appointed to oversee $1.6B Obama stimulous money. We will be hiring 3000 people in the next 3 months. If you need a job and would move the eastcoast let me know. I left my job at the DCMA Raytheon Tucson, where I was a supervisor GS-13. I loved Tucson and lived there for 3 years, but I didn't like that job much and wanted to go back to the Department of Energy. So here I am. Prior to moving to Tucson, I worked in Golden, Colorado for 14 years for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Rocky Flats Facility. I am a GS-13 Contract Specialist and I transfered to the Defense Contracts Management Agency last October (2003). I've lived away from Miami for 30 years and it's time I return and renew old friendships.

d career and raising my children. They're not children anymore Mike is 34 divorded and has 3 kids. Jamie is 30 and got married a couple of years ago - no kids.
I hold a BS in Business Management and am working on my Masters in Organizational Management. Who ever thought I would go to college? All it took was the realization that the lifestyle I desired came with higher education. I have three certifications. One in Project Management (PMI) and two in Contracting from the Defense Acqusition University. I was married for 12 1/2 years and have been divorced for longer than that. I love to go camping and boating and I have an 18 foot pontoon boat. I have lived overseas in Japan for four years. My exhusband was an officer in the Navy and traveled quite a bit.

College
College wasn't fun for me. It was a lot of hard work. I had to work a full time job and raise my two children by myself while I went to school. College was a means to an end for me. The end was getting a better job and making more money.
