Eleanor's Story
After leaving Concord, I spent four years at the University of Wyoming, graduating with a degree in Education. I then continued West to Oregon and began my teaching career in the Portland, Oregon Public Schools. It was in Portland that I met and married my husband, Don, and began our family. husband was transferred to Texas forty five years ago, so we are now considered "almost" native Texans! I then continued my teaching career in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD (between Dallas and Fort Worth). After a thirty four year career in education I have retired from teaching.
I will always remember our Concord-Carlisle High School years!
