Elisa's Story
Life
Well... where does one begin? I am married 32 years and counting. We have three boys. The oldest graduated from RIT ROTC and is serving our country in the Air Force, the middle son was our first home owner and lives in Stafford and our youngest married the love of his life also from Pavilion, they own a home and have traveled much. They bring us much joy and happiness. We are so proud of the hard working men they are.
I have never lived outside Genesee County. We talk of wintering in a warmer climate when we retire, that day inches closer and closer. I like the fact that I know many people and have a wide base of friends and acquaintances within a 50 mile radius. I guess I will always be a small town girl at heart.
Workplace
I worked at a burger joint right out of school and then I moved to a factory position as the money was great. They closed shop right around the time we were expecting our second child and although I had every intention of leaving right after he was born; I had to hold on for a short time and get the close out deal they offered as it was too great to pass up. They ...Expand for more
provided me with an education, that right out of school I lacked the drive to attain (funny how immaturity has that affect).
I then finished school and we found out that number three child was my graduation present. I stayed home with them as they grew and did all the fun mom things: room mom, field trips, PTA etc..... When the youngest started kindergarten I went to work in a pre-school as the hours best suited their schedule.
I then took a position in my chosen career field S/P factory and got a job in a doctor's office part time, then full-time, where I worked for three years, it was a great position and I loved it there but needed to spread my wings so.... I answered and add for a dialysis nurse at a outpatient center even closer to my home and did that for 10 + years, it will always hold a place in my heart. I am currently working for the Rochester Regional Health System in Rochester.
I am blessed beyond measure and hope my friends from Pavilion have similar tales of joy and happiness. Rest in peace to those whom have departed this earth to early and my we celebrate in heaven someday.
