After graduating from West High, I headed down to the University of Kansas where I received my BSW and then I entered the Accelerated Master's Program and got my MSW. The first 4 years after college, I worked in Topeka, KS where my parents had relocated to (grandparents were in area at the time) with the recession of the 80's. I worked with Juvenile Offenders and a group home, receiving my clinical licensure. Since 1989, I have lived in Overland Park, KS, a suburb of Kansas City.
