Elizabeth's Story
Well, our family has a myspace site. . . and since I can't post a web site just go to myspacedotcom and add after the dotcom/defrancescofamily That's a fun way to get my life in pictures !

I'm married with two youngish and sweet as all get out, daughters (Anna almost 7 and Emily almost 10). This is my second marriage and I am very, very happy. We live in Santa Cruz and when I'm not very busy managing the family and caring for my dear husband, I substitute teach as well as run the parent board for the school.
I graduated in Recreation Therapy from SJSU in 83, swam on the swim team there.

or a long time prior and sometime afterwards. My mantra is "LOVE TRUMPS FEAR".
I have a step daughter who graduated from MIT this past June and is living in Paris for a year. She's off to get her PhD in biology soon. I worked as a Recreational Therapist for about 20+ years in hospitals and for the City of SJ Parks and REcreation, Therapeutic Svs. Dept. I coached for two Paralympics (swimming) and started wheelchair sports teams for kids and for powersoccer. Coached wheelchair basketball, rugby, table tennis, track and field for many, many years but my specialty was swimming.
Had to give that up to raise the kids and keep my husband alive, simultaneous. Very challenging, but very gratifying to know that he survived, despite the odds.
Did I say Life Is Good???? It's a gift that we are grateful for every day!
