Life I was quiet in school, deathly afraid of the teachers and went all through elementary school and high school with a knot in the pit of my stomach. It's a wonder that I ended up becoming a teacher myself! but I'm a real teacher, so it was almost out of my hands--like a calling. In my various career reincarnations, I have taught high school English, kindergarten, fourth and fifth grades(presently). During the late 70's took a hiatus from public schools and spent a few years teaching test preparation for the grammar and reading portions of the SAT, LSAT, GMAT and GRE exams. My husband and I have been together for 21 years and married for almost 18. We have a 12 year old son. My husband is a science teacher by day and a rock musician the rest of the time, being in two bands, one of which does original music and another which does cover music. My son also plays guitar and piano, and I have recently begun piano lessons.
