Elizabeth's Story
Life
I have been married for 26 years! My step daughter, age 29, is married, has a two year old son and another baby due in Spetember.
My 23 year old daughter is married, she and her husband live with us and they are expecting a baby in September as well.
I also have a 17 year old daughter, in high school - not married and no kids on the way!
I worked as a school adjustment counselor and clinician until 2000, then switched careers to become a freelance writer and writing instructor.
I am also very active in my synagogue where I am on the Board of Directors.
Update 10/08- I now have two granddaughters, Mollie and Sarena, both of ...Expand for more
whom were born in September '07. I take care of Sarena during the week so that my daughter can attend Nursing School and my son in law is working for the Dept of Corrections. My 18 year old is a senior in HIgh School, works at a Dog Barkery where she is helping to market the product.
Being the grandparent of a one year old is very time consuming- it is wonderful to watch my granddaughter transform from a tiny infant into a toddler, great to be part of her daily life, but exhausting at my ripe old middle age!!
I'm trying to write in my spare time, still serve on the Board of Directors of my synagogue and am taking time to enjoy life.
