Wow, 1994, such a thing of the past. Any word of a reunion? Wait, does that make us lazy!! OK, for those of you who don't know, I married in 1995 and divorced in 2003. I have been living in Studio City (walking distance from Universal Studios theme park) ever since. I am still an insurance agent and working in Sherman Oaks. In Santa Maria I would deal in the thousands and out here I deal in the millions. I love the diversity out here. When I first moved here everybody thought I was either Persian, Armenian or Lebanese. HELLO, I'm from Santa Maria, I don't even know what those people are?!?! Now I have learned and dated these people and was just intrigued with their culture. Dining in LA, wow, let me tell you: You can actually go for weeks to different restaurants and never eat the same ethnic dish twice. The Los Angeles area is everything I had dreamed. The mentality is quite different here than what it was in Santa Maria. People are much more open minded here. On a negative note, I lost my father to lung cancer in October of 2005. for 30 years, 30 years ago. A lifestyle my sisters nor I ever experienced. It almost felt as if God had made a mistake in choosing him. My parents were in the interim of purchasing a brand new 4 bedroom home on an acre of land in Bakersfield (yes, Bakersfield, believe it or NOT). It was my dad's dream to harvest a ton of food, plants and flowers out there as he had the greenest thumb I've ever known. He was able to enjoy the new place for 1 week. My mother, my sisters and myself are coping with this as best we can. On a different note, the love bug has struck again. It is amazing at how easy a great relationship can be. I suppose the 'honeymoon' phase is over but we are still going strong. I can say or do anything and not be judged for it. He is tall, athletic built, Romanian and did I mention...a hottie!! He is also younger than me so I suppose that makes me a cougar. I say it's the Latin blood that keeps the 'young' face for years! OK, now on to the good stuff: Anybody working on a class reunion? Who cares if it's an odd year for a class reunion, LET'S BE DIFFERENT!!
