Elizabeth's Story

Life Twenty plus years as a system analyst/computer programer--and I finally get my bachelor/s at SMU when I "retire." Graduate school wasn't even that smooth. My father died while attending TWU. With less than 6 hours to finish, I dropped out to provide home healthcare to Mother. After eleven months in bed she passed away and here I am--back in graduate school. I have a fine son who works with an attorney. Between semesters I write. My companions are two independent pets [a lively great dane and Mother's cat--who thinks it's clever to nip at your fingers whenever she is being petted]. So, what's up with you? Drop me an email. If I recognize you, I'll answer the email between professor mandated tasks. School Hello Mike and ML. See college notes. College There I am--an adult among teeny-boppers. My, my. . .My major is psychology. On the first day of Abnormal Psychology, who should appear but a jolly old elf and his eight tiny reindeer? Oh wait, that's another hallucination--um, I mean, story. It was an old high school chum: Mike Murray. My professor[?]. Hmmmmm, t...Expand for more
his should be interesting. Mike tells me that ML has been up to his old tricks again. No, really, I hear ML is doing fine—rather remarkable, in fact. I could use a little ML cheering up about that time. Sorry, guys, not my genre—I had no idea; my son tells everyone that I went from the 1950’s straight into the 1980’s. With the scorching efforts of another [adult] friend, I learn that I should be really impressed. She gives me tapes of ML’s work. I’ve decided that I really should introduce him to his most devoted fan. ML: You’ve still got it, baby. Mike: You are my idol. Or is that “model” ???? Workplace Oh please. Did you really think you would find anything interesting in here? I travel around the world; spend time with the vedas in India; and you think I have something to say about the office. Please, think again. I suspect/know that I went to Gujarat because the beeper transmission didn't reach to the exact opposite point on the planet. Imagine it: a full night's sleep. Not waking to the telephone ringing at 2:00 a.m.. Now that, my friend, is heaven.
