Elizabeth's Story

Life After high school, I worked my way through college and married my college sweetheart, Chad. Currently, we are looking at moving to London within the next year. We have been together for almost nine years and have no children yet, but we do have four cats. I'm practicing to become the crazy cat lady you see on the news all the time! Recently, we bought a house in Suffolk, I can't believe I got him to move here, but the house is great and I admit, I missed the area. We postponed the move to London for a couple of years, but given how much we both love England, I'm sure we will move there eventually. With the move back to Suffolk, came a bunch of changes in our lives. We both got new jobs that we love and we got a dog. A big old German Shepherd named Mia. She is the craziest dog I've ever had, but I can't imagine life without her. Yes, I now have 4 cats, 5 fish, a dog, and a husband. My commute to work each day is 50 m...Expand for more
inutes to Moyock, NC and then back again. And just when life seems like it couldn't get any crazier, well, now we are trying to adopt. Sometimes I think I'm doing too much, but I really love what I do and too many of us get into jobs that we dread doing. I'll keep the commute and be thankful that Chad is the amazing man he is and is able and ready to pick things up when I call for an assist. School It has taken me some time to decide what to write here, but I think I have it now. . . I don't regret anything that did or didn't happen in high school. Yes, I would have done some things differently, but all in all I like the person I was then and I enjoyed all the people around me. I do wish I had been a little more outgoing, but as with all teen-agers my self esteem wasn't what it could have been. Thanks to everyone, those I loved, those I tolerated, and even those I thought I hated, for helping me become the person I am now.
