Now living in South Carolina- Murrells Inlet. I love being able to get outside year round and walk the beaches. Spend my "free" time gardening and sewing. Have 2 daughters from my first marriage, 34 and 31. They both live in the Baltimore area. Almost 4 grandchildren, 2 girls age 8 & 10 who live in Columbus OH and a grandson 3 and his little sister 1. After college I got my Masters of Divinity from Wesley Theological in D.C. Spent fifteen years in parish ministry as an ordained minister. Not easy being a female pastor back, maybe not now either! I loved my work but the stress of work and divorce led to a bout with depression. Actually I realized that I have struggled with depression since my high school years. Have been in treatment since my 30's. Doing well with medication and occasional therapy. I am now facing the most difficult challenge of caring for my husband who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 3 years ago. He is doing well, all things considered, thanks to the care of a wonderful neuro-psychiatrist. I currently work part time at a senior housing, HUD funded facility. Love my job and the people I work with. We are involved in our church which is racially mixed and established the subsidized senior housing, a free medical clinic and other outreach.
