Life
As of May 10th we have a new member of the family. My daughter has a baby girl named Lyla Hope. I am now Officially a grandma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lucky us my daughter not only was fortunate enough to adopt Lyla in May, but on July 25th she and her husband (and the whole family) were blessed with another baby girl named Hannah. Lyla and Hannah are the 6th and 7th grandchildren. I feel very fortunate at 59 years old to have my health and the wealth of my 4 daughters (two through my second marriage). Who else could deal with daughters unless they have loved their own through those ...Expand for more
"wonderful" teenage years. Have hope they all grow up and become not just kids but friends forever.
I have great memories of Jamaica High. I was in what they called the "Art Talent Pool". We took art two-three times a day in addition to our regular subjects. I would love to contact with those students who shared in this experience. I graduated in 1965 and lots has happened since..
Workplace
I currently own an insurance brokerage firm on Long Island. I have been in this field for the last 25 years. Starting as a clerical for a large firm and finally getting here. It is a long story, but enough for now.
