It's been an amazing journey from Philippines, Livermore, UC Berkeley then Harvard Law School. 2 husbands and 3 children later, I'm running marathons, travelling and enjoying life. It's been an upward trajectory which I've enjoyed. What has been my biggest surprise? That I had children so early in life, and how much I learned about the world and myself in raising them. They have been the most creative, satisfying aspect of my life. Who knew? I grew up with the Women's Liberation Movement and assumed I would be fully wedded to my career when I was an undergrad at UC Berkeley. Ahhh, life and its endless surprises!!
