Elizabeth's Story
I always wanted to be a Mother when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I really love spending time with my grandkids. After that I'm passionate about scrapbooking and photography.
Since high school, I have lived in Tulare, CA for 9 years. Then I moved to the Bay Area and lived 6 months in San Leandro, about 4 years in Dublin and then 11 years in Danville, CA. I moved to Fresno, CA in July, 2005.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to chairty, then spend the rest on my kids, a second home in the Bay Area and travel.
Although it wasn't the career I planned on, I am an accountant working for a non-profit.
My best friend would tell you I'm chatty, but people...Expand for more
who don't know me very well would probably describe me as very quiet.
I share my home with my husband, MIL, daughter and granddaughter, which I find crowded at times.
Sadly, my oldest and closest friend was Gail Van-Arnhart. Gail passed away from cancer in June, 2007. We met when I moved to SLO and started the 4th grade. Our birthdays were one day apart and we often had joint birthday parties growing up. Gail knew me inside out, she'd been there for babies, marriages, divorce, every up and down in my life.
My first job was at Great American Propeller Co., where I got paid $3.75 PH to answer phones and do bookkeeping. What I remember most about it is how funny and crazy the guys were that made the propellers and aviation art.
