Elizabeth's Story

Elizabeth is currently from East Brunswick, New Jersey. Elizabeth is married for over 60 years to Manus Midlarsky. She has three children and four grandchildren. Elizabeth's schools include Wingate High School. Elizabeth later attended Brooklyn College (Psychology and Creative Writing) and was elected to Sigma Xi (science honor society), Psi Chi (psychology honor society) and Phi Beta Kappa, She also attended the Jewish Theological Seminary, University of Vienna, and was graduated with the MA and Ph.D in clinical and ...Expand for more
social psychology from Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.. Elizabeth is a Full Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University and Director of the Lifespan Altruism and Well Being Laboratory. Prior to that she was a Full Professor at University of Detroit Mercy, University of Florida (Gainesville), University of Denver. She also continues to have a private practice, and to conduct her research and writing. Her published works include books, chapters in edited books and numerous research and clinical articles.
