The last 29 years have been full of adventure with something different around every corner. I drove truck over the road in 48 states and Canada all total, about 13 years. I also did some bartending off and on through the years. I lived in Arlington, NE out in the country for a few years in the late 70's/early 80's, and then eventually moved to Denver, CO. I came back to Fremont and bought a little house where I lived for 11 years. The last move I made was to a 6 acre farm not too far from Prague,NE. I was managing a wholesale bakery at the time of the move, but I went on to work for Hormel in Fremont which lasted for 10 years. The last 5 years working there I mainly ran different machines, but I had numerous surgeries on my hands and arms resulting in permanent nerve damage, and it came to the point and realization that I could no longer do any of the jobs there.
