Life I am currently living my life long dream. I have a wonderful husband of 8 years, who I love and appreciate more each day. I live in Boy River, Minnesota, near Remer,up in northern Minnesota, in the Chippewa National Forrest. We have a cute 1 bedroom home, ( so the kids can't move back!)with a big stone fireplace that keeps us warm in the winter, (we do have other heating systems, we're not completely back woodsie), on nearly 11 acres of woods and some pasture land. I have 3 grown childern, Rachael, 34, Married, one daughter, and lives in Grand Rapids, Mn. Christopher, 33, single, no childern, and lives in Powder Springs, Georgia. Mary, 27, with significant other, 2 sons from former marriage, 2 step-sons, and lives in Apple Valley, Mn. That makes 1 granddaughter, 2 grandsons, and 2 step-sons to be, as their father is planning to marry my daughter next year. I had a very bad car accident last June 1st, that has changed my life, possibly forever. Before then, I worked as a caterer for large events, even the Goveners visit, at Northern Lights Casino in Walker, Mn. I worked there for nearly 9 years. I am now on disability until the doctors feel I can return to work. I sustained a broken pelvis, 6 broken ribs, and brain injury that is the cause most of the problems that keep me from going back to work. But I'm ALIVE and any thing I have to deal with is minor, compared to how I could have been, accourding to my doctors. I was wearing my seat belt when an Avelanche ran a stop light and T-boned me and my husband, I was on the side that was hit worst and had to be cut out, from what I've been told, as I was knocked out instantly. I had always dreamed of riding my own horse into a show ring, I didn't care how well I did, because that would be the greatest moments I could have imagined. I did just that in 2000, with my horse Pokey, a morgan, and won 5th place in an event of Egg and Spoon! I have also shown my black thoroughbred, and took 2nd pl...Expand for more
