Elizabeth's Story

I was born in Roseland Community Hospital in 1944. I went to Roseland Christian School on 104th and finished elementary school at the building on 108th St. I went to Trinity Christian College for 2 yrs. and then finished at Calvin College in 1965, with a degree in Elementary Education. for my first year. Mr Hooker, the principal, was such a good supporter for the new teachers. I married in 1966 and went back to Michigan where my husband, Karl Westerhof, could go to Calvin Seminary. We had 2 children. We were serving for CRWRC as missionaries in the Philippines for 5 years 1986-1991.. Our kids were in Jr. High and High School while we lived In Manila, Philippines.
