Elizabeth's Story
After high school, I attended the University of NM getting degrees in Fine Arts and Anthropology while also working at the Maxwell Museum of Anthro at UNM. I then went to the Museum of NM in Santa Fe working as Curator & Director of the Programs & Education department for almost 20 years. I moved to Montana in the early 90s to become the curato (ant at times, Director)r at the Charles M. Russell Museum.

nsulting throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico, and travel extensively. I've lived on ranches and raised Quarter Horses, been a "fine arts" painter, restorer of American Indian arts, a folk arts specialist, and an appraiser of the arts of the American West.
I've been in a relationship with a fantastic poet for the last 25+ years. I could not think of living anywhere else but the West, and I'm working on moving back to New Mexico, my home and where my heart is.
