Elizabeth's Story
Elizabeth is from Iowa City, Iowa. She is married with Blaine Lechko. Her schools include Columbus High School, Saint Marys School. She later attended Saint Mary's University of Minnesota (Language Arts Education, Communication Studies/theatre emphasis). She works(ed) at Iowa City West High School, ADM High School, Fullerton High School.
Elizabeth's interests include Audio Books, Animals, Theatre. Music she likes includes Twilight City, Crosby, Stills. Books she likes include Share jokes for friends, John Sandford, Jack Higgins. TV shows she likes include CSI, Flashpoint Team One, Flashpoint.

More about Elizabeth:"For those that I haven't been in touch with, here's a short catch up! I'm still teaching at West High in Iowa City. I love the kids, but I'm out of theatre and speech extracurriculars. Age and health took its toll and I can't handle the long days anymore. After 25 years of staying til all hours of the night, it's nice to go home after school each day. I'm teaching the public speaking classes and other language arts courses and communication classes.
I now live in southeast Iowa City with 5 cats and 2 dogs. Both dogs are trained and registered Delta Therapy dogs. We visit nursing homes, hospitals and hospice patients. It's very rewarding.

ars ago I got my adoption papers and located my birth mother, Johnette Kellogg, through the internet. I wrote her an email and it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship which is ongoing. We both believe that God was instrumental in getting us together. It was just too easy. She was brought into my life at a time when I had lost the two most important people of my life. I am twice blessed being able to love two mothers in my lifetime.
Beyond these events, things are pretty normal and run of the mill. I teach, I go home, I take the dogs to the dog park or visiting, I go to the cabin in the summer and enjoy my human and fur family.
And now i add a new chapter in my life. I met the love of my life in May 2011 and Married him on Sept 22, 2012. Never in my life did I ever think I would find someone to love and who would love me. God brought us together and we have a beautiful relationship.
In March of 2012 I was diagnosed with Congestive heart failure so I have had to slow down in life. I walked away from teaching in November and am hoping to be approved for disability. I miss the students and the staff, but my health has improved with rest and relaxation and I am able to function pretty well in short bursts as long as I can rest when events get too taxing. It has taken some adjustment, but I have put my life in God's capable hands and will do what he has planned.".
