Elizabeth's Story
Life
We now own 2 little "ranchettes" in South Texas. We have 5 children, 4 grandchildren, 2 horses, 2 cats, 3 dogs and a variety of wildlife just passing through.
School
Crushes? I had 2. Shawn Pantella in Bayville and Pete Stark in Toms River (we moved).
The teacher who inspired me most? Definitely Ms Jobson. She believed in me.
If I could do it all over again?... I would follow my heart instead of my head.
My fondest memories at school?... were in the parking lot where we hung out by our cars and just talked and laughed a lot. Weird.
College
My college days were as a single mom...Expand for more
with 3 kids. I worked full time and went to school full time at Texas A&M University (A&I). I remember my hunger for knowledge. I loved college.
Workplace
My first job was at First Nat'l Bank of Toms River. Then after graduating HS & moving to TX I continued to work in banks off and on for many years, taking time off to have babies.
I babysat a great deal and waitressed more than I care to admit.
Since late 2001 I have been working for Curves. I was the General Manager of 4 Curves fitness franchises until August 2007 when I purchased the club closest to home. I am now a Curves owner.
