Elizabeth's Story
I graduated from Midlo and went to a very small women's college, Southern Seminary, which no longer exists. I transferred to Sweet Briar College, another small women's college, where I earned my BA.
I married Rob Sayegh, VMI'91, in July of 1994. We have 3 children Taylor (11), Will (8) and Riley (4). My husband is an FBI Agent and we lived in New Jersey for 6 years. While living in NJ I worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Human Resources Generalist. I was responsible for the east coast and worked in both NJ and NY city. I was luckly not in the city when the towers fell, but had a clear view of the smoke on my commute home. My husband did work on the case and it was a very stressful time for our family.

4. My husband signed up for a hardship tour in Gallup as a means to get us back to an area we could afford. We are planning to return to Richmond in the summer of 2009. Gallup is between Albuquerque, NM and the Arizona border. If you are ever driving through my suggestion is to keep going! Gallup is a hardship due to the fact we are surrounded by the Navajo, Hopi and Zuni Reservations. My husband works all of the violent crimes on the reservations due to it being federal land. While living in NM I earned my teaching certification from the University of New Mexico. Currently, I am teaching second grade at Gallup Catholic School. My son, Will, is in my class this year. I love teaching and plan to teach in the Midlo area when we return to Richmond.
