Ellen's Story
Well, I had a wonderful career in Dallas from 1978 to 2001; I raised a daughter (she's turning 30 this month); that makes me feel old! I moved to Florida in 2001 - ending my career but marrying a wonderful man. My ex/first husband passed away in 2009. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Sept 2008 - went thru surgery, chemo, radiation and came out the other ...Expand for more
side this year. I still have a lot of strength training to do to build up back to my old self...but, I'll get there. Right now, I'm 54 feel like I'm going on 80 but I fully intend to get my strength back and be dancing again. We're back in Texas now.. Hubby has retired and I'm glad to be home (Texas)!!! I'd love to hear from some of my other TJ Classmates.
