Ellen's Story
Well friends we are getting older, yeah like we didn't know that already!
30 years out of school... did you achieve your dreams?
I can happy say, pretty much! I have a wonderful family and what more could you ask for!
Friends family God A great life!
Well, here I am. We have ran a horse & farm rescue for the past 14+ years and I think it's finally time to end that stage of our lives. It is getting to hard to say goodbye to dear friends that develop between you and a horse or other animal. Having to put them down is too hard now. So, as of Jan. 2010, we will just have our family horses, cows, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and whatever wanders our way. We have 5 children still at home, our second grandbaby boy due in Jan. and we are happy!
In Sept this year we opened a hunting, fishing, archery, and herb store in our town. So, with the farm, building log homes and the store we stay very busy! Plus, believe it or not, we homeschool! It's wonderful!
That so far is my story!

ng, God tells you what He wants!
Looks like we are still in the rescue business. Though, donations would be nice to help support these critters!
Looks like we are getting three ponies and a horse. After months of no contacts, we get a request for very needed help.
So, how do you say no to those eyes? Have you ever looked into the eyes of a horse in need of love. Have you ever smelled a horse in winter? (that is my most favorite smell) Strange, yes I know. But have I ever been anything but that? hmmm...
Okay, now that you have decided that you have to find a horse ranch and smell a horse in winter, remember one thing, the horse can't be a stabled horse, in those posh barns, it's the smell of those running around wild & free!
Yes, I'm a granny again! No, I don't feel older, because our youngest will be keeping me young, for a long time!
One of these days I'll post a new pic. The wrinkles have increased of few! LOL! Actually, they are laugh & smile lines!
With that, I'll close- Have a great day and thank God for all you have been blessed with!
