Ellen's Story

Life I live in Portland OR with my husband of 19 years... Jay Mellies who is a Microbiology Professor at Reed College. After graduating form the University of California at Davis I worked in the restaurant business as a pastry chef and manager for 15 years and 5 years ago started my own company as a Professional Organizer called Neat. You can google my name to get to my website. I currently have a weekly national televsion segment on organizing and do a lot of speaking on the benefits of simplicity. We have a 14 year...Expand for more
old daughter, Annika and a 9 year old son, Aidan. We all live in an old 1500 sq ft farmhouse with our German Shorthaired Pointer, Willa. Our favorite family pastimes are camping, canoeing, skiing, adventure travel, Scrabble, cooking, gardening and entering the State Fair. I'm a still a geek and I married one as well! Life is good. I have a Facebook account so if you want to contact me that is the way to do it or go through my web address. I don't have Classmates "upgrade" so I can't see who has signed my guestbook.
