Ellen's Story
I got married my junior year of high school and got my GED the same week the rest of you graduated. I started Brazosport College the next fall. I took college classes and took care of a husband and babies for the next 11 years. Then I got divorced. I stayed single for the next 6 years while I worked and took care of my daughter and son. I got remarried, and became a grandmother shortly afterward. After another divorce after 9 years of marriage, I decided to take some time to let God heal my heart. In that time, I went back to school and finished my degree. I am now in my third year of teaching at T.W.Ogg in Clute, which was the elementary school I attended. I teach fourth grade reading and language arts.

esday nights. I have found a deep peace in my life stemming from a relationship with Jesus Christ. He is my core and the reason for living.
I am a very blessed woman, with 2 great kids and 4 wonderful granddaughters. My son, his wife, and 3 girls (ages 6, 7, and 12) live here in Lake Jackson, and my daughter and her daughter (age 17) live in Katy. I LOVE being a grandmother. I also keep a close eye on my elderly parents, stopping by to check on them several times a week.
Well, that about sums up what I've been doing the last 35 years. I'm looking forward to many more good years full of family, friends, love, and laughter.
Blessings,
Ellen
Update: I married Milton Morlan (Richwood) On October 17, 2009. He is a wonderful husband. God has blessed me again!
