Ellen's Story
After high school I went to CCSF for two years. I then went to work for PT&T in SF. In 1969 I married Mike Reed an SH grad. Class of 66. He was in the Marines so we moved to Anaheim for his last 6 months of service. We then moved back to SF and he went to work for PT&T also. In 1972 we bought a house in San Jose in 1973 we had our first born son Kevin. In 1977 we had our daughter Erin and in 1978 we moved to Forest Grove OR. for Mike's job. had our third child a son Tim in 1986. My Dad came to live with us in 1987 and was with us until 1991 when he passed away. That year our marriage ended and I was still working for AT&T. I retired in 2010 from AT&T Wireless as a network operations tech. I sold my house and bought one with my daughter Erin and her husband Mike Poor its a split level I live downstairs and am a fulltime Grandma for my granddaughter Gracie and grandson Carter. My son Kevin lives close by and Tim is in the Army reserves in Iraq. Life is good I am active in my Catholic parish and sing in the choir.
