Ellen's Story

Life really hasn't turned out the way I expected it would, as all of us have experienced in one way or another, but after high school and some college, I was married and thought I would grow old with the love of my life. Well, my husband became a Policeman in Washington, DC. We relocated there and after 4 children later, he was killed there. I stayed in the area and raised my 4 children and have been in the DC area ever since. I have not remarried. I am a grandmother of 8 1/2 and a great grandmother of 2. We all weathered the storm which has made me a strongeer woman. I am on the ...Expand for more
road to retiring as an Archives Specialist for the US Archives. I am enjoying my job, but am lost for someone to share my life. I still look good as I am always hit on by younger men, but that never turns out good. As they are saying now that the age of 50 is now the new 30. Well I also believe that the age of 60 is now the new 40. I feel that good. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there, who remembers me from Westinghouse High , or Peabody High, or the class of 65 from Cheyney State? Hoope to hear form anyone for whatever reason. Justto say 'Hi' is good enough for me.
