First summer of retirement almost over! I’ve only been kayaking once, it’s been really rainy and my original kayak buddy is no longer available ..,oh well. Teddy, my Cavalier KC spaniel and I spend more time chilling and he’s really psyched about that. I’m almost done with my kitchen remodel. Bought a farmhouse table and benches on the Nextdoor website, sanded off the dark stain and refinished it! It looks super…..need another project now! Hope everyone is doing well. Bye for now :-) ******* Ok, let’s fast forward it’s 2022! OMG - I weathered the pandemic. COVID is still here, but we somehow are functioning as though life is normal, perhaps they call it the ‘new normal’, not to wear out a oft used phrase. To all who lost loved ones, my deepest sympathies. 💞 My Biggest news…..I retired woohoo.! JUNE 1 and DONE! 🥳 Thirty years at the same location. I’m still figuring this retirement thing out :). Now I can wake up and mow the lawn as opposed to sit down with laptop and go to work and make money. The oddest thing is getting used to one minute you are in high demand and then BAM page turn.
