Ellen's Story

Life Okay, here it goes... After high school graduation I went on to Bucknell University and got my BA in Biology. Well, THAT WAS USEFUL since I then went to work for Jordan Marsh Department Store (now Macy's) in their Executive Management Training Program. My career brought me to the Boston area where I have been for the last 15 years and it also introduced me to my future husband, who was at the time my boss's boss (SCANDAL!!!) g every minute of it- we have two wonderful children, Caitlin,10 and David, 7. I manage to stay out of trouble by doing lots of volunteer work. I'm extremely involved in my kids' school, our town educational foundation and I even manage to dabble a little bit in local politics. Although, my husband wishes that I could turn this full time volunteer work into a paid job so that he can stay home full time! As my kids get older, I find myself to be more and more reminiscent of my times growing up in Ledyard. We had a great time! So many memories- hope to see many of you at reunion.
