Elyse's Story

I am a Joisey gal through and through but moved to the south (VA) in 1987 when my husband, Santo, retired. The mountains are beautiful here, The Shenandoah Valley gorgeous, but when you are a Joisey gal-you miss where you're really from. The way of life here is so different. I love Italian food. My daughter and husband ran our family business for almost 16 years until we closed it in April of 2008. Our favorite past time is going to Atlantic City and hitting the slots and eating authentic Italian food. I enjoy a good book, also.
